Not sure where I heard it, but it was stated that Barack's administration didn't do enough or didn't feel he, Otto, wasn't in any danger and really didn't push that hard to get him released. I'm thinking it was on CNN, or MSNBC as those are the only stations I watch.

(61,692 posts)I wish the Obama Administration had been able to get him home immediately. But it sounds like the DPRK did him in right after his "trial".
I hope there are no more American tourists there. Did the State Dept have warnings about travelling there 2-3 yeears ago?
