Rachel just said: Do not underestimate how fast this can get weird and how weird it can get

Talking about many different aspects of the Russiagate investigation.... too much to try to repeat, or even remember. Manafort, grand juries, etc. etc. Federal Grand Jury in Eastern District of VA has issued subpoenas related to Manafort. This is Dana Boente's jurisdiction and he is one of the US Attorneys that Trump kept on when he fired a bunch of them.

but lose it by the time she gets to the next thing. I wish she'd elaborated more on the statement about how weird it could get and how fast. Not sure what she meant. Anyone else?

6. So what I didn't get is if he unrecused himself or is saying he never did in the first place.

Not that it matters. He seems to re-insert himself whenever he likes.

a criminal inserting himself in an investigation.

This is why they film the crowd at a fire. If it is arson chances are the arsonist is watching his work.

The active grand jury is the one run by somebody. Donny 2 scoops held over.

A district attorney (or a US attorney) can get a grand jury to indict a ham sandwich,

the opposite is true, they can stop a grand jury from indicting a criminal,

I don't know if special counsel can move a grand jury/proceedings from a questionable US attorney,

kind of like the way Nuñez is saying in California newspapers that he still runs subpoenas out of house,

I hope that's not what Rachel means by getting weird.

Remember how weird Nuñez got after Comey announcement

And, as the departed Hunter Thompson said "When the going gets weird the weird turn pro".

Seriously I just hope this all bears serious fruit soon.

compromised? This is the second time she's pointed out Dana Boente... the first time I thought maybe he might be a good guy, but tonight, she seemed to be implying something more sinister.
