Spider webs are fascinating. They come in various shapes and sizes. Often, one can see the spider that constructed the web sitting, waiting patiently. But, even if the web appears empty, one can be sure that a spider built the web. For there are no spider webs without associated spiders.
There are no criminal webs without criminals. At times, these webs of corruption and deceit are seen sans the criminals that have constructed them. Thus, investigations to untangle such criminal webs can take time. Investigations want to identify all the evidence required to trap the criminals in their web, and to convict them.
There are also investigative journalists who special in deconstructing such webs. There is an extremely valuable documentary on one such investigation of the Trump-Russian web that came out in May. I highly recommend it to everyone on this forum. Here is a link:
Enjoy!

It makes the right's "but there's no evidence!" seem rather funny.

(73,506 posts)I'm likely going to post something featuring Malcolm Nance tomorrow. I think that DU:GD should serve as a resource center for people. (The other day, someone posted an OP that incorrectly implied that Mr. Nance is saying things that he absoplutely is not saying. Sometimes, we "hear" what we want to hear.)

I've got a few more planned for this week. It just might be important for DUers to review some of this information before Friday evening.

(35,454 posts)I found Rachel interesting last night, talking about the Eastern District and how many grand juries may be happening, including Flynn and referencing Sen. Whitehouse. We've heard the same such from some disputed sources on DU

I think people should be familiar with the players in the film. There's a few that should be in the news soon!

(73,506 posts)It's funny: I was thinking of a discussion we recently had about some tapes. And it hit me -- I could find a link to this film, which contains the answer, so to speak. Kind of like when hippies dissected Beatles albums, but it's there.
I'm going back to look

(73,506 posts)It's a combination of things, really. A few weeks ago, I noted that Flynn had been turned. Not "officially," but he has. The problem is that he's been well documented in lying for the past four years. And I keep talking about the meeting that Erik Prince attended on the island off of Africa. And I've stated that Treasury has been investigating the money flow for months now. Keep those three in mind between now and Friday (Sunday morning at latest).
Did you see Rachel's show this evening? She's already started reporting -- actually, based on another journalist's report -- about the very issues/people covered in the film in the OP.
Finally, remember Me's questions last week? For months now, I've pointed out the MI6 report's mention of Trump and the Russian prostitutes isn't exactly what people think? See, Trump might have been careful while in Russia. But Russian prostitutes travel outside of Russia. Sometimes on big, fancy boats.
Make sense?

I can tell that you did not watch the film that is linked unto in the OP. It contains information about the boat trips.
I'm off to do a sit-up or two.......

(3,676 posts)No I can't watch the whole film. No time.
And I think it is too depressing for me.
In fact I will have to log out of DU until this whole thing blows over because it is too stressful.
Wrecking my good vibrations y'know.
Keeping my vibration high is very important to me especially right now.

(73,506 posts)many good people, including yourself, find the current situation depressing. I find some of it upsetting, of course, but I also find the process unfolding to be fascinating.

(3,676 posts)it could be fascinating to many people who are able to look at it objectively.
I can't be objective though.
I just want it to be over.

(73,506 posts)I'll be posting a good film of Malcolm Nance tomorrow. He puts everything together quite well. I think it could serve as a good DU:GD follow-up to the flick in the OP.
And Trump ranted against globalism in the campaign! What a jackass.
