Trump and GOP are doing the opposite in trying to destroy Obama's legacy

Their destructive actions are making President Obama more popular than ever, even among moderate republicans.

is creating the very situation he fears the most, to be derided and discounted. While it truly sucks for us all it's hard not to appreciate the irony.
