TheHill:
Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) drew thousands of people to his rallies this weekend, held to encourage senators to oppose the Senate GOP healthcare plan.
On Saturday night, Sanders drew a crowd of about 1,600 in Pennsylvania, according to the Pittsburg Post-Gazette.
We will not be part of a process which takes from working families, takes from the sick, takes from the children, takes from the elderly, takes from the poor, in order to give huge tax breaks to people who dont need them, Sanders said during the rally.
A great nation is not judged by the number of millionaires and billionaires it has, he continued, but how well it rests the most vulnerable."
On Sunday, the Vermont senator held a rally in Ohio, where he drew about 2,200 people and similarly spoke out against the Senate's healthcare proposal.

Sanders is of the hardest working Senators in the Senate. Always the statesman - working his ass off to make America better for the 99%.

Considering he votes with Democrats more often than most actual Democratic Senators, I think your characterization of Sander's record seems a little desperate.

Sanders had big ideas but little impact on Capitol Hill
Democrats who worked with the Vermont senator say he contributed to the debate, but rarely forged actual legislation or left a significant imprint on it.
