PLACE YOUR BETS! Will she or won't she?!

Mika Brzezinski sez:

I know Melania. I haven’t talked to her in months, but if my gut is right, I don’t think she’s going to put up with it much longer. I know nothing. That’s just my instinct and I go with my gut and my gut’s always right. I’m just telling you, Melania’s got the worst job in the country and I don’t think she wants do it a lot longer. I think she will do it for as long as she has to for her son, and that’s it.

I think she is part of the problem, but what do I know?

This morning I saw a clip of Melania when she was talking about bullying, and I suddenly had this image in my mind of waking up one morning and reading that Melania and Barron had fled the White House in the middle of the night and were in hiding somewhere, and she had called 911 and you could hear Trump in the background yelling at her and calling her the "C" word and threatening to beat the shit out of her. I wonder if even THAT would be enough to turn the True Believers against him. I seriously doubt it, though!

Maybe not the twit thing, but anyone who says their gut feeling is "always right" should be shunned.

As to Melania, it would be difficult for me to care less about a grown woman who has made a deal with the devil and (perhaps) can't bring herself to walk away. There is no shortage of vulnerable women in abusive situations who are trapped or who feel so trapped that they are paralyzed. The trap is usually one of isolation, which can take practically any form: Physical, mental, emotional, or financial. Melania Trump is better positioned to walk away from this situation than almost any other person on the face of the planet, if she wants to.

can have separate sleeping quarters and limited appearances, I see her sticking it out until he is out of office. She may know w his health, his time may be limited.

As a former divorce attorney, I would advise her to go now, while she has some leverage, do a legal separation w all of the terms spelled out, get more than the pre nup, keep quiet and live in the tower. Announce: trying to work it out, but she is shy, and things have gotten tense, so they are going to separate.
When he is out of office, announce that since the separation did not work, convert it to a divorce. In the meantime, she can do a few special appearances.

Another reason she needs to go now, is she is hearing too much. She could go down also.

Barron's school year will start back in mid-August so she'll have a good reason to split for New York.

She'll put up with her husband as long as she's allowed to use the ruse of Barron's school schedule to get out of the White House. I believe she'll want a divorce when the bright spotlight is no longer on her. (It will always be on Cheeto.)

Trump would be just as cray-cray even if he weren't married to Melania, so it's not fair to blame her and call her part of the problem.

Just sayin'

Similar to my SIL in the past few years. It isn't just strangers (press, celebs, women), but will be close family members as well. Melania? Her comment about him giving back 10 fold was very telling. What has she experienced herself? Why so reluctant to move to DC? She keeps to herself and keeps him at arms length. Protecting her son too? Defense strategy?

Family covering up for him for as long as they can, but it cannot last for very long.
