Yeah, OK.
I'm, by far, not the first one to say this here.
But holy moley, she is just amazing.
She has the facts at her fingertips and just wipes out the right wing propagandists/talking points spewers.
She doesn't let them talk over her or Gish Gallop for an entire segment.
Long may she wave.

(10,173 posts)He was on a flaming theoretical highhorse about healthcare and "letting the market " solve everything.
When Joy asked him "If the free market solves everything , why did those people make use of the ACA when it became available, why weren't they insured before?"
He then melted into a pool of gobbledygook.

(23,366 posts)Rachel's histrionics get a little tiresome. I'm not a fifth-grader--I don't need things explained multiple times with arms waving and hyperventilating. Yes, she does her research and lays out her facts splendidly, but I can do without being beaten exuberantly with them.

(12,882 posts)At 72, I finally did make it thru the fifth grade - 12th even! And I'm a fan of hers. I like the way she makes sure the hood is on squarely, last words offered and the noose fitted just so - before the floor drops away.
Rachel, Joy and Lawrence make MSNBC worth tuning to.

She is that good. Shame on M$NBC for passing her up.

(21,597 posts)I just saw one of her shows online earlier today. She is very professional. Plus, there was no yelling and crosstalk among the guests.

But I wouldn't be able to get a word in edgewise.🙂 But that's OK because I like what they have to say.
