Krugman on CNBC . . . ughhhhhh
Who can even LISTEN to this?
Every time Krugman tries to get a point across about taxing the wealthy, government spending vs GDP, Medicare, etc . . . he can't even get a word out edgewise because he's being tag-team interrupted by those right wing fucking assholes Joe Kernen and Michelle Caruso Cabrera!!!! Andy Ross Sorkin is the only one letting him talk. Kernen, GOD he just fucking sucks. Who ever made this asshole a personality? Who? The guy's got a face for radio, a voice like your annoying right-wing co-worker and the delivery/rhetoric/black-and-white mindset of Neil Cavuto. Joe Kernen is literally a composite of the worst qualities of every right-wing anchor out there in one loathsome pig bastard. What I think about Michelle "You Know I'm Right-Wing" Caruso-Cabrera, they couldn't print. Krugman was maintaining his composure nicely, but I did notice a little stammering. Good on him, because I'd have been throwing chairs.

1. I can't, that's for sure -
one of the best decisions of our lives was getting rid of extraneous cable when I lost my job back in 2007....and since basic cable is so bad, we just don't turn on the TV very often.
It is utterly predictable what all of the news shows will cover the vast majority of the time - but I do appreciate the gallant, courageous DUers who will dive in and report back the lowlights! ![]() |

7. The POTUS Doesn't Pass
the POTUS doesn't craft, pass and pay for legislation.
the Senate is comprised of numerous Millionaires, almost HALF of the senate. one of the wealthiest senators is democrat Dianne Feinstein. they are not not to vote for a tax increase for themselves and their wealthy friends GOOD LUCK with that one |

I'm also right there with you on Cabrara-Curruso-Whatever-the-fuck.... ![]() |

5. The joke is on CNBC. The percentage of people who take them (and the rest of MSM news) seriously
is at an all time low. Behavior like this only contributes to the trend.

6. Even the conservatives I work with cannot stand the serial interrupting on CNBC.
It's much the reason this station has to remain muted.
It's not even journalism at this point . . . it's a contest of opinion where conservatives think cut-offs and volume are the best weapons. |

8. It isn't about viewership, its about manufactring a narrative.
They lay out a frame, so that only through that perimeter are things discussed.
