Given what Donald Trump Jr. has now openly admitted to the press and everything else that has been revealed, those are the only four words that matter any more.
There is nothing else that ever needs to be said about the Russian matter from here on out.
They. Knowingly. Committed. Treason.

(100,063 posts)It's not just one person or multiple people. It's not just Trump or McConnell, or Ryan or Gorsuch, or Steve Bannon or Alex Jones, it's all of them! They're all guilty! That's why they won't hire an independent prosecutor. They'll all be implicated. Ever since Citizens United they've been on a warpath to destroy Clinton and they finished the job last year. And I'd bet some good money and good odds that McConnell is the ring leader in all of this.

(51,584 posts)Whatever it is won't be bad enough in my opinion. Selling out your country should give them a punishment similar to the Spanish Inquisition torture methods. Instead they will get pardoned and not fined a single cent. Shit, they'll probably make money off of it in fact.

"Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason and shall suffer death, or shall be imprisoned not less than five years and fined under this title but not less than $10,000, and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States."
I recommend hanging.

(111,245 posts)and his "dirty tricks squad." It has been increasing, election to election. Now whole states are cast into doubt because the machines are so easily hacked.
It's not that big a leap to asking a hostile foreign power for help hacking the opposition's computers. It probably wasn't that big an extra hop to looking the other way when the hackable machines consistently produced results at odds with all predictions.
It's not a political party any more. It's a racket.

Mannafort is a more difficult read at this point.
