Now that one of his brood is threatened, he'll pardon the whole bunch. Boom. Investigation over. Then all we can do is stand by and see if Ryan will lead or at least allow impeachment. I am not hopeful.

If you think for a minute Trump won't do this, give me one good reason. He has no morals, no scruples, and delights in overturning precedent and conventions, and spits on principles.

The Trump crime family has almost certainly committed enough financial crimes in New York to send them all to the pokey for a long time.

The only thing that is not known is if a sitting president is capable of pardoning themself.

There is no pardon for high crimes and misdemeanors convictions because you're no longer the president. As with Nixon-Ford, Pence would be likely to blanket pardon Trump prior to any conviction.
