"I had no contact with Russians and I never heard of anyone in the Trump campaign talking with Russians," said Caputo ...

Caputo .. lived in Russia in the 1990s ...

He returned to the U.S. in 2000 and worked as a public relations adviser to a subsidiary of the state-owned Russian conglomerate, Gazprom ...

He's a protégé of .. Roger Stone ...

Except the ones I HAVE had contact with...


In fact in January 1985 I finished off 7 bottles of Stoli with a buddy and 5 members of the Leningrad Philharmonic in the Europskaya Hotel after a concert that included the Shostakovich 5th Symphony.. THAT was the beginning of a long wonderful relationship with Russians.

My most recent contact with Russians was drinking vodka - Stoli again - albeit not as much, with 4 members of the St Petersburg Philharmonic, (same orchestra), again after a performance of the same piece in the USA.


But no, I don't even know any Russians.


Oh,wait, I forgot.... last August I went sailing for a week in the Lofoton Islands with-- OMG, it was... 5 Russians and a Japanese woman ( wife of one of the Russians)

But other than that I have never even spoken to a Russian..

Well I did text with a fellow a few hours ago....But we texted in English.. 'cause he speaks 6 languages and I only 2.

But, other than that...
