I almost sat out the 2016 presidential election

because of my disgust with the money and corruption involved in politics. The possibility of a Trump presidency shocked me to my senses to vote for a proven and a more than qualified candidate in HC. I still can't wrap my head around what seemed like a no brainer. Trump's election was a donkey kick to the gut!

How his supporters without question accept the lies and deception tells me they will not hesitate to pull the lever again for him. I now fear if we don't make strides in 2018, it will be the knockout punch needed for his reelection barring impeachment. I think momentum is building to turn the tide in 2018 and take the White House in 2020. But if we have a repeat of apathy and no shows in 2018. Will democrats who voted surrender, call it quits and disengage from participation. I don't want others to become disenfranchised with voting like I almost did......

Any thoughts?.....
