25. IIRC, Thom Hartman claims that the actual case didn't make that ruling, but...

...it was inserted into the summary of the archival version at a later date, and later courts researching precedent check the summaries rather than the full case documentation.

He's the only one I've heard say this, though, and I haven't exactly researched it myself. Post-Citizens United, though, it seems worth checking more thoroughly.

When the media started blatantly lying about the movement and covering up the crimes and violence by the police....Occupy should have gone straight to the media and surrounded the stations and demanded they reported the truth.

Bring the truth of our demands to the media to report accurately, bring reports of violence and pictures/video to the media and demand they air it. Surround the stations and do not leave. Make the 'reporters' feel guilty for enabling fascism. Make them answer to the masses on our public airwaves.

As it is, the media lied and basically turned everyone against Occupy and shut down the movement to the point it is now ineffective. We were waiting for that movement, we needed that movement to get any real change in this country, and the bought off media lied on our public airwaves because the Koch brothers paid them to.

The anger in this country needs to turned on the real people at fault in this country...the media.\

They are responsible for brainwashing the easily led.

They are supposed to be the ones holding our public officials accountable. Politicians use to fear the media. Now they expect them to cover their asses while they help their corporate buddies loot the nation meanwhile stealing our social safety net.
