spicer has more integrity than sessions. who would have guessed ?

I cant believe it. I thought Spicer had sold his soul to Trump and would grovel and take the abuse like Sessions did. He had enough integrity left to just resign instead of being humiliated by Trump.

But it was to take a different more important position in the Admin.

I haven't heard yet if he's just walking away from the explosion behind him or what.

Sessions is a simple minded twit, but he saw what 45 did with the NYT for what it was.

He was trying to force Sessions to resign so that he could say he didn't fire him/meddle into the investigation.

Sessions knows this, and knows that if he resigns he looks more like an accomplice to 45, while if 45 fires him it looks better for him, like he was acting with integrity and trying to stand up to him and or he was a victim to him, not in league with him.

That's pretty astute, Cosmocat. I hadn't thought of that strategy but I was curious as to why AG Sessions didn't quit on the spot.

There's wisdom in your idea.

Have a good weekend.
