Here's why 45 thinks that health insurance costs $12/year

"Why does Trump think health insurance costs $12/year? Because Gerber advertises life insurance for babies on Fox News for about that price."

"That's right, Trump's understanding of health insurance is so non-existent that he doesn't even know it's not the same as life insurance."

He said this in a NYTimes interview:

It will hurt your brain, but read over the tail-end of that quote: "Here's something where you walk up {Walk up to what? Where?} and say, 'I want my insurance.' {Who are you talking to? What the fuck does "I want my insurance" mean?} It's a very tough deal, {What's a very tough deal? Knowing where to walk up? Spouting some nonsensical demand about wanting your insurance?} but it is something that we're doing a good job of." What are we doing a good job of? Making it a tough deal? Making a tough deal easier? I hasten to remind Mr. Trump that if a good job is being done as regards insurance, it's because the Affordable Care Act is the law of the land. You and your congressional buddies haven't done squat-ah about insurance in six months. Except for the kegger on the south lawn, but I'm not sure that was a good job.

The man is just out to lunch. I don't know how Haberman just sat there without exploding in rage: WHAT THE EVERLOVIN' FUCK ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT, YOU GODDAM SIMPLETON?!

Wow, how stupid does a 70+ year old man have to be to confuse Life Insurance with Health Insurance?

Because I have no idea what he was talking about. Not just the part about $12 a year insurance. None of it made any sense at all.
