An Incoherent President Trump

<snip>Here’s Trump talking about health insurance: “Because you are basically saying from the moment the insurance, you’re 21 years old, you start working and you’re paying $12 a year for insurance, and by the time you’re 70, you get a nice plan.”

That is a near-unintelligible description of, I think, life insurance. A man hell-bent on repealing Obamacare doesn’t seem to have any clue how health care works.

Here’s Trump talking about Napoleon, whose tomb he visited during his recent trip to Paris: “His one problem is he didn’t go to Russia that night because he had extracurricular activities, and they froze to death.”

This sounds like an answer to an essay question about Napoleon that might appear on a sixth-grader’s history exam.<snip.>

4. Health insurance/life insurance would be a great SNL sketch

The fact that this is an actual quote should be horrifying to everybody. The fact that people aren't screaming bloody murder about the mental state of their leader after statements like that will mystify historians for years to come.

13. SNL should do an entire show

where every skit is about Trump and every line he speaks is an actual quote. Then at the end of the show credit him as a writer.

You know what he would do? Sue them for not paying him.

15. Tina Fey used exact Palin quotes in 2008 in a debate sketch

It was funnier than anything one of their writers could create.

He should sue for his money back.

9. He probably graduated due to Daddy's money...

not his own academic abilities. Same is true for W. Rick Perry apparently earned his BS at state school by the skin of his teeth. Interesting that the Rethugs seem to collect all the dumb ones.

I know someone who there and knew of Tiffany and supposedly she did the required work. I doubt her dad did or forgot all that he learned.

6. Someone said . . .

(Sounds like a Trumpster lead in, doesn't it? ). However either here or on a another site, someone suggested the Trumpster was quoting a $12 a month Gerber Baby Insurance policy, the one that presumably grows with a child.

That would be a hoot!

8. This is the best quote about an attack of gas

Crimea was gone during the Obama administration, and he gave, he allowed it to get away. You know, he can talk tough all he wants, in the meantime he talked tough to North Korea. And he didn’t actually. He didn’t talk tough to North Korea. You know, we have a big problem with North Korea. Big. Big, big. You look at all of the things, you look at the line in the sand. The red line in the sand in Syria. He didn’t do the shot. I did the shot. Had he done that shot, he wouldn’t have had — had he done something dramatic, because if you remember, they had a tremendous gas attack after he made that statement. Much bigger than the one they had with me.

18. And Jeff Jacoby at the globe will now lie about DJT

While most sentient beings in the US realize that the president has no idea about healthcare, GOP shill op-ed writers will continue to claim down is up and the sky is green.
Jeff Jacoby
Bret Stephens
Peggy Noonan
Douthat ( the dumbest and most naive of all)
David Brooks ( but like most smart, non-owners GOP he's now becoming a Democrat)
Huge Hewitt
Bari Weiss

Why do centrist, intelligent publications give column space to such simple minded propagandists? Reading their columns is embarrassing.

One reason the OPs point isn't all over the headlines every day is because of false disagreement from their right-wing op-ed writers.

She's only coherent when it's on little cue cards. And that's based on days she can read.
