This isn't normal.

This isn't acceptable.

This feels increasingly like a dictatorship.

The institutions are all still there but they no longer function as they once did.

There is no last line of defense.

I've never seen or felt anything like it, and I
lived through all the craziness and assassinations
in the 60's and through Watergate.

This is much worse, and that was bad.
