A few moments ago, a large maple tree on my lawn fell, crushing our swimming pool. But I'm more interested in watching the news! Ha! A week ago, a white pine at the edge of the lawn was hit by lightning. Lots of firewood for my son to chop up.

I bought my son a new ax and a bow saw. No better training for a boxer than chopping wood. (He damaged the last ax when he split 20 cords in one afternoon. Strength -- including punching-power -- and conditioning. He's lucky that I let him do it for free!)
