get the red out
(14,031 posts)I will soon get sick of the butter variety, I am going to have to have different flavors on hand with the circular firing squad the Trump admin and Republicans in general are creating.

(39,376 posts)She doesn't want to hear it or see it but asks for an update each evening before walking the dogs. I don't know if that's for her benefit or to give me a release. She asked what I was watching the other night on my iPad and I lied and told her baseball. She called me out.

bad enough that i have to bite my tongue at work; i cannot be shut up at home. the upside of it could be that they decide to move out and get their own place. they aren't about to do it, but it's a pleasant fantasy.

(296,114 posts)animals, science, etc. are enough for me. I like good movies as well and murder investigations. After that there's no time because I also like books.

(7,768 posts)After Scaramucci publically professed his LOVE and CRUSH for donald and then touted his fucking AMAZING physical and athletic prowess (BLOTUS can throw a PERFECT spiral through a tire
btw, I'm sure I can throw a football with more proficiency than Flab-In-Chief and I'm a girl), the marriage was made and consummated. 'Mooch' will be fellating the Prez daily on TV and don the con can't get enough! Priebus is TOAST. Tire tracks observed and noted as primary cause for his demise.

(79,052 posts)It reminds me of going on a long drive. You see signs along the highway, that tell how far away your destination is. Each hour, you can measure how much closer you are. The White House in-fighting means we are close.
malaise
(296,114 posts)You stated this quite beautifully in one of your OPs
It is expected, but I will admit it is moving faster than I anticipated. It's a pleasure to watch it unfolding!

A few moments ago, a large maple tree on my lawn fell, crushing our swimming pool. But I'm more interested in watching the news! Ha! A week ago, a white pine at the edge of the lawn was hit by lightning. Lots of firewood for my son to chop up.

(79,052 posts)I bought my son a new ax and a bow saw. No better training for a boxer than chopping wood. (He damaged the last ax when he split 20 cords in one afternoon. Strength -- including punching-power -- and conditioning. He's lucky that I let him do it for free!)
He's getting life lessons for free

(25,816 posts)his siblings setting it up for him. Most of it was locus, which isn't easy splitting. He was also working for a rancher, doing hay -- great exercise for boxing. The rancher, very tight with a dime, paid him a double-salary, because he did two men's work. He's an extremely powerful young man.

(31,308 posts)i'm losing hope that anything will bring them down. after gw i actually believed that the republican party would fade away into the dustbin of history. i was CERTAIN that Hillary would win last November. Who thought a year ago that trump would be president? not me that's for damn sure.
i got no crystal ball malaise. but do not fear. resist. all i can do
