24. Breaks my heart that WE-our very own people...had to protest in the middle of the night!

That who ever is really controlling the Repubs. can get them to hold a vote in the dark, hoping to sneak it thru.

So glad McCain made the right decision.

29. Because if no one calls, emails, or marches, they think we're not looking.

So, yeah. They do work.

A symbol of who We the People really is.

First day in a long, long time we've awakened to semi non-fuckery. Love these protesters!

And did! I am so proud of my president (Obama) and the people who stood strong against Trump and the Repukes.

7. Beautiful. Just beautiful.

Now if we can only get them to fund the ACA. That's going to be an even tougher battle.

10. True, but controlling all three branches of gov, the GOP now own health care.

If it gets worse they'll get blamed.

17. I wish I could agree, but the Republicans ability to spin talking points is unprecedented.

And they control the budget. All they need to do is keep cutting the key underpinnings that were put there to keep the market stable and underfund or defund the rest.

11. Food for thought from Margaret Mead.

Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.

Those of us who were there in the 60's knew it then, and we know it now. Taking it to the streets is the only way they listen. I don't care how much money the Kochs have...they still only have one vote. When people turn out in numbers, they notice. When they show up at meetings, they notice. When they make phone calls, and send emails, they notice. We've got to keep this pressure going.

Just turned 69. (When the hell did THAT happen? I was in college just a couple years ago! ) In those days, you couldn't trust anyone over 30. Now it's under 30.

18. Wonderful!

And for millions of Americans, the wolf is pushed back just a little farther from the door.

We take a short break to celebrate this rejection of disaster. Then we get back to work. There are many battle fronts in this war we've been thrust into. This humiliation of Trump, McConnell, Ryan, and their confederates gives us strength and inspiration to continue.

I go to the rallies I can but, obviously, I can't go to everything. I'm so glad so many people showed up and made their voices heard at this important event

31. I sat watching the news with a drink in one hand and my noise maker

that I bring to my protest marches in the other. My neighbors didn't complain since they know what I've been fighting for and bitching about for 6 long months.
