4. His end comment was good political rhetoric

He said that the Reoublicans were trying to save people suffering from higher prices and fewer insurers under Obamacare. He said to save the millions suffering Repubs had promised to repeal it.
And that almost all voted as they promised. He said the Dems are to blame because none would help the Repubs find a solution to the suffering Obamacare is causing. That is all total horseshit but I do think most Republicans and some others will accept his words as true. Of course everything Repubs want to do will make health insurance vastly worse than it is now but McConnell hides that obvious truth.

His words were clever deception, giving them a big smokescreen to hide their escape.
