Donald Trump IS the clear and present danger to this country.

Like with the Monarchs in England throughout history, look for Trump to try to declare himself King or Emperor and disolve the Congress and declare the Judicial Branch irrelevant. Talk about a coup? The people will revolt and there will be blood. Congressional Republicans will twiddle their thumbs as the country burns allowing Trump to get away with murder. It is only a matter of time before this takes place.

3. Trump for a long time now has been cherry picking from

the playbooks of Hitler, Putin and Erdogan. He has publicly described despots as strong while clearly showing affinity to authoritarian regimes. The stark reality is that the inevitable consequences of the Mueller investigation may have precipitated a new urgency in his timetable. Personally l do not think he will succeed, but trump will certainly try. It is a better option than forfeiture of prized properties and possible jail time.

Trump is in it to the end. We are talking about real military style coup with civil war, collapse of the US economy - second great depression (not recession), war escalated by russia, etc and likely nuclear attacks. All within reach. The issue is that the minds of most Americans are not able to process this. Europeans can easily see it unfiltered.

Which is minute compared to staging a coup, it's not likely they'll follow orders to destroy our democracy and give him dictatorial powers. Nope, not at all.
