The fact is, Manafort is an old misinformation collaborator with Roger Stone. Both go back a long way, and both will do anything for money. If both know what's best for them, they'll sing for Mueller. Certainly by now, they also know that Trumpy will throw them under the bus at the blink of an eye, so they should have no loyalty toward Trumpy. Maybe they'll form a duet.

any attempted firing by Trumpy will be met with strong and immediate backlash by most in the Senate. Mueller's job security just got stronger. We should also know that GJ investigations have been going on for MONTHS, but are only now receiving MSM attention. Yesterday's news was a watershed event because Trumpy can no longer hide behind blanket denials with any ounce of credibility. Let's not expect GOP support for Mueller from the House, as Ryan, Nunes, Chaffetz, and Rohrbacher, to name a few, are already targets for GJs. Ryan is in especially hot water for having a few of his conversations with Kislyak intercepted by the FBI when he was arranging for Russian money laundering. He's a duplicitous asshole and felon who won't be Speaker for much longer.

Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason and shall suffer death, or shall be imprisoned not less than five years and fined under this title but not less than $10,000; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States.

Personally, I think it is far past time to show these GOP shit stains the exact same level of compassion and understanding that they show to literally EVERYONE else...NONE. Fuck the lesser sentencing options...HANG THE MOTHERFUCKERS....EVERY ONE OF THEM AND SAVE 2 SCOOPS LEVER FOR ME TO PULL!!!!

by wealthy donors. Certainly, there isn't any GOP policy that appeals to the common voter, so they appeal to those visceral culture war issues that blind the common voter into believing that the GOP is on THEIR side. It's been a lie for decades, but it's a lie that always works. The GOP will likely not collapse as it's the sole vehicle for expressing the interests of corporate and billionaire wealth.

here's the simple math:

at a cheap $1000/hr x 15hrs/day x 5 = $75,000/wk x 1200 stations Republicon talk radio is worth $18MIL/day or 390MIL$ /month or 4.68 BIL$/ year FREE for coordinated global warming denial, pro republican free market deregulation and wall st think tank propaganda, swiftboating, and the hate and fear used to get people to vote republican.

in 2014 trump studied talk radio and putin's probably been using it since the 2008 primaries

all that is now being used to make excuses for trump and attack mueller and the 'deep state' obama clinton moles, etc.

this would go a lot better if the left's orgs would pull their ipods out of their asses and mount a major protest effort aimed at the 88 universities that support rw radio - advertisers would flee all rw radio

put the sarcasm emoji after "Trump fires the best people". I don't see anyone on that list who would qualify for the "best"
of anything. I get that it's a play on Trump's boasts that he chooses the "best" of everything on any occasion, but still.

I guess the sarcasm might be understood by everyone without actually saying it though, huh?

connections ... so what's the big deal ... I had nothing to do w/it happening & fired him when I found out what he was up to ...

Until someone can prove Trump actively encouraged (someone) to collude w/the Russians, he's going to avoid the at minimum, anything approaching the worst of the consequences.

And in order to get Manafort to sing, he'd have to be guilty of a crime that could land him in jail. Since it seems nobody in law enforcement really takes the whole 'lying by omission on your forms' or 'failing to properly register as foreign agent' seriously ... I'm not sure anything he did in regards working with Russia to get dirt on Hillary was 'illegal' to the point where he faces seriously consequences. They're gonna have to get him on some other criminal shit he's done to apply the screws.

"CNN has learned some of the investigators involved in the probe are buying liability insurance out of concern they could become targets of lawsuits from those who are being investigated, according to one of the people familiar with the probe. The Justice Department covers legal fees for employees sued in the course of their duties, but some of the lawyers want extra protection."

And no one thought this warranted more public attention?
But Hillary using the wrong email server was a top fold story?

Where was not only Comey, and those other intelligence agencies sworn to uphold the Constitution and protect the democracy, but also top Democrats that knew, including Obama? Surely if Trump was being charged, very publicly, with colluding months before the RNC primaries were over, he would never have even gotten a sniff at the WH.

Was it that Democrats WANTED Trump to continue because they thought he'd be the ultimate push over in the general?

We've all seen enough of what I call cops & robbers/law & order TV shows. This is how it's done. Get the lower level folks to cop a plea deal in exchange for the details on the higher ups. Then, they slowly move up the food chain, so to speak, until they get the kingpin.

It's obvious that they were warned by US counterintelligence long before they kicked him overboard. It appears in retrospect that they kept him as long as they could in order to continue their espionage efforts.

It's obvious, almost above-board, hang-by-the-neck-until dead cooperation with a foreign nuclear power to swing a Presidential election.

or isn't getting much attention, and that is was Russian monies being funneled into RNC coffers?

To me, it seems to make sense that in addition to targeted disinformation into certain areas (i.e, parts of PA, WI, MI, etc) that was intended to either supress the vote or cast disinformation on Hillary, those activities would also require monies for campaign ads.

We're all too familiar with SuperPac being virtually shielded from transparency so is it out of the realm that Russian monies flowing into the SuperPacs be just as relevant?

That could potentially put Prebius and Ryan back into the spotlight.
