Question about Twitter accounts (since I don't have one myself)

How easy is it for someone with a Twitter account to change their @Handle? Do they need to re-register or is it a simple change of settings?

I'm just curious because the @ProgressPolls handle doing the phony "More Americans prefer Trump over Obama" poll that the Madman re-tweeted this morning has only been doing "polls" for a couple of weeks. There are no prior tweets on their feed, but if you look at their media postings (pictures), it shows whoever had the account had been heavily posting a lot of alt-right styled pro-Trump propaganda and race and immigrant baiting messages during the 2016 campaign.

No need to re-register. Just pick a handle, and if it's not taken, it's yours.

2. Why would you need to change your handle? You could just set up another Twitter account.

Lots of people have multiple accounts.
