Talk me into it.
These haters love the fight; I almost think it fans the flames to counter-rally. Ignore bullies. That's the real strategy.
I dunno. Talk me into it.

(6,324 posts)Nobody gets their mind changed because people go to a rally.
Nobody who goes to a rally changes their view.
Nobody who sees it on TV changes their mind.
Rally's don't change laws.
Rally's don't cast votes.
It's nothing more than a social event for like minded people to gather together and feel like they are doing something.
I find my time is much more productive spent in other ways to foment change.
Even worse, counter rallies just give morons the attention they crave and feed into their delusional beliefs of persecution, so rather than just unproductive exercises they become counterproductive. If these morons in Charlottesville had shown up and marched and nobody paid any attention to them they would have had much less publicity and just looked like even bigger fools.

(52,129 posts)It sends a message that we are not forgetting all the BS this admin has done and harm it has caused. We need to stay vigilant and to let our reps in Washington DC know that they represent us and we will not vote for them unless they do.
This is not normal and we will never accept it. Civil disobedience is a right.
We know it works by looking at the ACA repeal. Their agenda is stalled. That is progress.
