I heard today that the people, and children of Venezuela don't have enough food

I was shocked that I had not heard about that. So I looked for ways to help and found this page from BuzzFeed.

What was also so sad was in 4 months the GofundMe pages that I went to had not reached their monetary goals and their goals are not that high.

So I want to post this in case anyone else wants to help.

1. Been going on for awhile...just been getting worse..

....the govt has screwed up the economy about as much as possible.
Venz doesn't grow enough food so they have to import it but imports have to be paid with in dollars and the govt has made dollars almost impossible to get. And they have price controls on food but they also have 800% inflation so you'd have to sell under cost, not a good long term business plan.

3. So tragically true and worse

I read articles stating the Venezuelan population on average, has lost roughly 20% of body weight. Inflation is so high that food is extremely inaccessible for the lower incomes and production of food is markedly diminished.
Ashamedly for a once thriving country is the harsh reality of resorting to eat companion dogs found roaming the city.
The links provided here also listed a shelter for dogs.
No milk for babies, pharmaceuticals unavailable for dispensing and so on.
I can't imagine how horrible it must be.
