Kind of reminds me of "the good old days" when the The Molotov–Ribbentrop Pact was making the world great for totalitarians. That lasted for two years which I suspect is longer than the Trump presidency will last. A lot of irreparable damage can be done in two years. Trump must be made so toxic that even the G.O.P. won't put up with him that long.

He is the existential threat to America that Tea Party types always claim to worry about. The same folks who would agree to postponing the 2020 presidential election if Trump called for that.

Let this, at long last, finally be the turning point. Trump must be rejected now as foreign to our body politic. He is the enemy that our armed forces, at their best, have sacrificed hundreds of thousands of precious lives, over centuries, to defend us from.
