(53,410 posts)Going on in politics. I work in UC Berkeley and there are lots of people who don't keep up the way us political junkies do. They listen to the news for a few minutes only and they miss a lot of what's going on.

(24,207 posts)A lot of people are busy and don't pay a ton of attention. I would bet some Dems only head what he said Monday. And I would bet most FOX News viewers thought Monday was simply echoed Tuesday.
The second the GOP thinks they can get more done with Pence as President, Trump is gone.

(2,585 posts)Trump coming out Monday and denouncing it (whether or not he wanted to) was enough political cover for his base. i've seen alot of people on facebook say "he denounced it, what more do you want?" he always says just enough that you cant nail him to the wall w/ people who want to like him.
