Kelly is bringing Trump within the bounds of normalcy (for Trump). The Joint Chiefs issuing anti-racism statements, along with all the Billionaires on his Economic Council quitting, may have sobered the Narcissist up a bit.

I suspect Kelly told him the only way to save his presidency is to try it the Deep State's way.
