Bannon speaks: "I'm going to war for Trump against his opponents,"

Stephen Bannon said in his first public remarks since his ouster as White House chief strategist that he’ll be “going to war” for President Donald Trump, vowing to intensify from the outside the fight he has waged against opponents of his brand of populist conservatism.

“If there’s any confusion out there, let me clear it up: I’m leaving the White House and going to war for Trump against his opponents -- on Capitol Hill, in the media, and in corporate America,” Bannon said Friday in an interview with Bloomberg News hours after his departure was announced by the administration.

Bannon left the White House Friday, ending a controversial tenure as the administration is engulfed in a storm over the president’s remarks on violence in Virginia. Bannon’s departure was agreed on mutually with new White House Chief of Staff John Kelly, White House press secretary Sarah Sanders said.

His exit caps a tumultuous four weeks in which a slew of senior officials have announced their departures, including the former White House chief of staff Reince Priebus, former press secretary Sean Spicer and former communications director Anthony Scaramucci, who was hired and fired within the space of 11 days.

That website is responsible for what a sizable portion of our electorate perceives to be reality. Just because those of us on this side of the looking glass recognize what they're about does not make them any less dangerous. Remember, the people whose views of reality they shape include to a fair degree the majority of the leadership of all three branches of government.

That crowd got inspired to vote by the gingoism, but the tipping point wasn't them
It was the frightened sheep (economically) in OH, PA, & MI that tipped it
Barely any of those voters even knew that BiteBarf even existed.

Breitbart eclipsed Pornhub and ESPN in traffic just six months ago.
The've even outstripped Fox News. That kind of sizable.

It is a dangerous mistake to discount the damage this particular corporation can do.

That's an audience of 14 percent of the entire population of the United States. It's also roughly 35 percent of the entire population that voted for either of the main party candidates in the last election. Of those, the majority are probably of the younger generation, while there are still many more who are only exposed to Fox. And Fox, we can be fairly certain, will be influenced by what's being reported at Breitbart to at least some degree.

his way into the White House. His ouster speaks to a shift in who is pulling the strings. Twitler's response to the tragedy in Charlottesville rang a bell that can't be unrung. He's shown himself as a racist. He has lost the support of corporate America and they won't be coming back. Heather Heyer is a martyr for the opposition to Twitler and all he and his ilk stand for. His presidency is over, he just doesn't know it yet.

Whether he's accepted it yet, or not, is a different story. Trump knows that a majority of Americans don't support him. He also knows the Russians helped get him elected, just not to what extent. He's at a turning point right now. Either he starts performing his duties as president FLAWLESSLY now, or he'll be bounced out before he even gets the chance to be impeached. He'll still never finish his term, but it's his future reputation that's at stake. He could possibly salvage SOME (but not much) of his reputation, as for his "brand".........in my opinion it's shot, but I'm not a neo-fascist, racist, piece of crap, so I can't speak for that sector of the economy.

Now he can spew whatever he wants with no tie to the white house. He can make all kinds of cash now with little scrutiny and promote Trumps racist message wile Trump can pretend it is not him.

This is nothing more than taking off the chains and attempting to change the conversation away from Trump being a racist.

Both of them benefit; the “firing” was probably for show.

Takket up at number 9 says Bannon's gonna shout at the 33% who always follow him. Sometimes people think that number is out of the whole population of America or even voters.

That 33% may be misinterpreted by some who don't follow us on these sites. It may just be the 33% of that site's viewers. Wonder how many viewers there are and how many actually vote?

That might make a really interesting poll - if you voted, what site or blog do you credit influencing your decision? Or even Network or Cable channel?

And only 19% of the entire population of Once Great America made a determination for the other 80%. Of course not all are eligible to vote. But it's sad when 1 in 5 Americans decides who runs this country and over all only 2 in 5 total tries to make choices for the rest.

60% of the people of this country didn't have a say either through their own choice or weren't allowed to choose for themselves their fate for the next 2 to 4 years.

Sad!

Waddaya think?
