Why do Republicans hate money made from books, movies, speeches, etc.?

So Al Gore writes a book or makes a movie and millions of people want to buy the book or see the movie. And he makes money off it.

They were the same way about the Clintons and Obamas writing books and making speeches for money. Why do they have such a problem with that?
