He took some pretty hard line positions about total warfare, especially against Native Americans.

How about we not get so hung up on war, period, other than the fields of battle where they actually took place?

The Civil War, his actions against Native Americans were deplorable. If they don’t want to tear down the Confederate statues, then they can have a Sherman statue erected next to each…

Also, Sherman’s actions are considered severe, but it can be argued that he shortened the war and saved lives. I know that the argument sounds familiar.

His actions in the Civil War and against Native Americans was and still is considered atrocious.

The man made a name for himself by declaring war on civilians.

his horrific methods have lead to this generations long quest for revenge.

There is honor even in war. On that score, Sherman was sorely lacking.


THAT statue should come down too. It celebrates a war criminal and Indian War genocidal maniac.

next to every monument to the south. The same goes for every Ten Commandment monument. We are talking about war monuments.
