Question: And now where do our allies come into play?

Disclaimer given....I did not watch the speech...my info has been gotten basically by word of mouth.

That being said, if we go all ballistic on Afghanistan and Pakistan, are our allies expected now to help us?

We are not withdrawing. Nor are we going to accomplish anything with a few more troops.

But I think there are many who recognize Americans aren't all bats, and who are willing to declare themselves partners because of who they know we can be, not who we are.
