Most .. disapprove of the way .. Trump responded to the .. white supremacist rally in Charlottesville .. a .. Washington Post-ABC News poll finds.
Fifty-six percent .. said Trump was wrong to blame "many sides" after a neo-Nazi plowed his car into anti-racism protesters ...
Republicans were more likely to give Trump the benefit of the doubt — 62 percent said they approved of his remarks, while 84 percent of Democrats said the President was off base.
Independents disapproved 55 percent to 28 percent, though not all responded ...
