What's The Correct Term....

Supremist (3-syllables) or Supremacist (4-syllables)

I hear both pronunciations. I just want to know if they are referring to the same thing or if these are two different thing?

1. Supremacist is correct,

the other is an error but is meant to be the same thing.

3. supremacist is the right word.

The fact some on tv use supremist pisses me off. Its similar to Bush using nucular instead of nuclear because of his ignorance. Next thing you know, other people including journalists start to use it.
