Boots with a Vibram or other hiking sole, with cleats, so you really gotta' use a stick... and you never really get it all off without a serious scrub brush.
And we all know that it stinks!

(51,584 posts)the stench lingers for months. If you do get sprayed (my dog did) even after multiple baths of acidic products like vinegar or tomato juice do not help. Every time she got even slightly damp for six months the smell was reactivated like a scratch and sniff from card from the John Waters film Polyester.
