As to reelection - pretty much everyone doubted he would win in the first place. I said he was a real threat to win the nomination the moment he came down the elevator and while I did not say he WOULD win, I said this country absolutely was stupid enough to elect him POTUS. Bush II wasn't going to win relection, either, then 9-11, and the Rs stangled this country with terrorism fear for 3 years to get him re-elected.
