Well, here we go again!

Trump is going to be visiting Houston tomorrow! He just can't stand when he is not the news! How much do you want to bet that he will that the "fake news" did not cover his visit tomorrow? The bad thing about his visit, is the city will be stressed out enough and then to provide security will break the city! But it is all about the idiot's ego and not the safety of the people in Houston!

don't make me defend him but he's trying to not make the same horrible mistakes that GWB made. He doesn't do anything, even within his administration, but he's going for the optics.

Trump should have shut his mouth on all other topics since the storm hit and should have reported on what aid was coming, rather than senseless and uninformed cheerleading, unconstitutional pardons, and complaints about unrelated topics.

Going forward, he should wait until the danger is passed, which won't be for another two days after he visits. Once the danger is over, he should bring a contingent of disaster relief experts to the area so they can make a practical plan about how to begin to rebuild. I guarantee that is not what he will do.

Look, I can't stand the guy, but he's gonna be ripped three ways to Sunday no matter what.

Outrage if he goes, outrage if he stays away. Why it matters one way or another is beyond me. It's not going to change a damn thing, just gives everyone something to bitch about.

There are more important things to be focusing on.

While NOLA was drowning he was cavorting at McCain's birthday party.

He finally did show up in the area on Sept. 2, but he seemed disengaged for the whole previous week. Instead of eating birthday cake and just looking out the window of AF1 he wouldn't have gotten the flack he did.

IIRC, Barbara Bush made a few impolitic remarks, too: "So many of the people in the arena here, you know, were underprivileged anyway," she said, "so this is working very well for them."

a window to throw it out, losing what little you do have is painless. Right?

How dare she acknowledge the trauma and suffering they went through thinking they might die? A woman of privilege who can't find it in herself to just look at what they went through and offer a kind word probably needs to just keep quiet.
