Could the 25th Amendment be the End Game for Trump Cabinet Detractors?

Last edited Tue Sep 5, 2017, 01:41 PM - Edit history (1)

Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, Mattis, Cohn, Cho (McConnell's wife), Mnuchin (?) (could be playing possum), Kelly (I know, he doesn't really have a vote), Veteran's Affairs (after all, he's an Obama guy), even Sessions and Pence. Maybe even his family joins in (Ivanka, Jerod and Ivana). Add McConnell and Paul Ryan to the mix and this thing could be "Donald, either resign or we'll through you the fuck out!"

Could the time come that they reach a conclusion that this raving fucking maniac in the White House has to be expelled?

Rather than resign, could these cabinet members be engineering a "silent coup"?

Stranger things have happened.

And then if the president blocks it, it takes 2/3rds House AND 2/3rds Senate.

So, basically. It's not happening.

mentioned the word "Impeachment" so I'm assuming that goes for a 25th vote as well. So far as they're concerned (at least McConnell and Ryan) he's in place for the duration.

least the US thanks to his indifference. He is really more to blame than Trump because Trump is basically NGRI (not guilty by reason of insanity). Like Nero fiddling while Rome was burning.

Yes, they're both culpable and McConnell equally, if not more, guilty because he presides over the senate and Trump could have been gone long ago if all rethugs weren't cover his but. Not sure if Trump is just plain crazy or crazy like a fox. Either way he needs to go (along with Pence, McConnell, Ryan and a host of other Rs), the sooner the better.

The problem is that by finding people that are willing to serve in a Trump administration you have to pass the first hurdle

1) Are you a complete moral lackey that is willing to work for someone who, for example, lied about the birthplace of the President of the United States so he could inflame white racism.

They all answered yes to that which makes them shallow and without courage.

Its like asking if a Eunuch would be an effective sperm bank donor.

The answer is no.

discussing would impeachment lead to Civil War? Impeachment won't but a 25th Amendment removal from office (without an obvious physical impairment) would have a higher probability of a Civil War.

They're all talk.

I am a product of the 60's. I know what American revolutionaries look like and act like.

Trump supporters voted for the first time this last election, now you think they'll go out into the streets to face off against the US Army?

They'll complain at their Bar-B-Q's at their trailer parks, but when it comes to mounting a revolution, they won't do shit.
