I refuse to watch that corporate show with corporate paid politicians. I could get ten times more information reading a couple of posts here in GD.

They can only function in packs like the dogs that they are. They can't go 1-1.

That was unthinkable at one time.

(19,358 posts)7. Meet The Press is last in ratings of all of the sunday talk shows.
David Gregory should never have been given this job.
Actually, he should not be working in the media business.

(4,672 posts)11. He wasn't biased. Gregory leans right.
I think its funny that CNN and Gregory both lean right. And both shows are struggling. News Execs must realize that all of the right wingers watch FOX News period.
In 2008, 90% of people that got their news from FOX voted for McCain. They own that demographic group. The audience remaining are people that want straight forward non-biased news. Yet people like Gregory and CNN continue to court the right wing. This is why they are struggling.
This is why CNN fails. This is why MTP's audience is dwindling. MTP needs to be a straight forward, non biased show like it use to be. But that is not the direction David Gregory and his producers chose to take the show. The heavy GOP guest lineup every week is further proof of this.
