Aug 31st, 2017 A meme claiming that only 4 percent of churches in Houston opened their doors to Hurricane Harvey victims appears to have originated on a satirical Facebook page and was not based on any legitimate statistics.
(For one thing, many churches were flooded or damaged or lacked food & drinkable water themselves.)
