Osteen using armed guards to block survivors' access to donations

Search on youtube for adviseshow on Osteen. They've posted cell-phone videos of church corridors lined with bins and boxes filled with donated supplies.

I never heard of this group before and have no idea how reliable they are.

I wonder how many of Osteen's church members have been flooded out. I read Osteen lives in River Oaks, the area where Rice is located. A video of the campus I saw early on showed a bit of flooding.

2. I wouldn't say that Rice is in River Oaks.

Rice is south/east of Highway 59/69. In fact, River Oaks is north of Westheimer, which is north of Hwy 59/69.

I would lump Rice University in with West University Place. Or maybe even Bellaire, considering the division by major thoroughfares.

On Edit: Lakewood Church is just south of River Oaks.

I think I was told that if we walked across the street from Jones College we would be in River Oaks, with private streets and where Oveta Culp Hobby lived,

4. I think Westheimer might be its

southern boundary.

That's several big roads to cross, with smaller streets between, Bissonett, the 610 loop, etc

Maybe you are thinking of Boulevard Oaks?
