So what happened since the Saudi/European trip when she was knocking his hand away, and freezing him out. Is this part of some plan to get his approval ratings up by presenting them as something other than the Rambling Lunatic and the Ice Princess. When they arrived in Houston the other day and she came up behind him and put her hand up around his neck and started rubbing him, I thought maybe someone slipped her a mickey on AF1. She came across as unapproachable during the entire campaign, except when he came out on stage after her speech during the GOP Presidential Convention, so something must be up.

My guess is someone focus grouped them and decided that Trump will never change; is unwilling to learn anything about governing, is never going to treat our Allies with the affection he treats Putin, is not going to stop tweeting about fake news, and that they have to do something quick to get his approval ratings UP and someone decided that if they could get them to appear more loving in public that might change public perception about the president severe shortcomings, and boost his ratings. I've been out of town the past two weeks and have limited access to DU, so I don't know whether this topic has been mentioned previously but, I'm curious as to what others in the DU community's response is to these sudden public displays of affection between Potus and Flotus, and what you think is up.

So DU, are you buying whatever it is they are selling????
