This pisses me off - what would you do?

Okay, I'm SS age. I just found out the Right-wing is using something called the Pepe OK sign to signal one another.

I just googled it - it's the average OK sign I from way back as far as I can remember when i was a kid in the '50s!

Am I supposed to stop using it? Why? Who gave them exclusive use of it?

(not that I find so many occasions to use it but maybe once or twice year?)

What would u do?

but Dumpster Fire uses it a lot in his speechifyin' hand gestures. It's an incredibly offensive gesture in a large part of the world, akin to calling somebody the "c" word, so I say let the Nazis have it for now. They seem to keep their hands lower than I remember the gesture being done in the 50s and early 60s. Back then, the had was raised level with the chin or ear.

I still think that duck-taping his hands to the lectern would help tremendously.

And if Kelly has a little left over, he could always slap it across his mouth.

The sketch went on with Joe Piscopo (sorry to invoke that RW asshole's name) playing Ted Koppel? Here's a link to the sketch:

His tiny thumb and itty-bitty index finger form a circle, multiple times whenever he spouts his ME ME ME crap for his base.

He likely knows what he's been doing in that regard, he's no doubt been coached by Miller, Bannon, et al. In the same way 45 insert the words "globalist conspiracy" (to neo-Nazis, that reads "Jewish&quot in his rantings, or calls out "antifa"by name.

Someone should look at his old tv shows and speeches to check if this is a more recent habit.

I am happy to say that you don't see too much of this weird right-wing stuff in the real world. I have only met one guy in real life who might have been an Alt-Righter. Most people don't know or care about esoteric right-wing hand gestures You are good!

The Trump Internet Keeps Making Fake Hate Symbols, And People Keep Falling For It

The previously innocuous and widely used "OK" hand signal became the focus of an internet furor over what constitutes a hate symbol after two conservative figures were photographed making it behind the White House briefing room podium on Friday.

The controversy kicked up when Fusion reporter Emma Roller tweeted a photo of Cassandra Fairbanks and Mike Cernovich “doing a white power hand gesture in the White House.” Both Fairbanks and Cernovich strenuously deny the accusation.

A Feb. 28 thread on 4chan’s /pol/ board, a hub of alt-right trolling and discussion, titled “Operation O-KKK has gained quite a bit of progress,” stated, “Our goal is to convince people on twitter that the 'ok' hand sign has been co-opted by neo-nazis.” A thread on the same board from Saturday titled “We successfully false flagged,” with an image of The Independent's story, reads: “HAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAH THESE FUCKING RET--DS FALL FOR IT EVERY TIME.”
