If he had shown up with two cashier's checks for a million each..One made out to Red Cross & the other to Salvation Army..
I know these organizations each have "issues" that many of us do not like, BUT to most people they are the recognized "boots on the ground" in disasters..
He needs to donate at least 5 million since he's always bragging about how insanely rich he is..

(111,939 posts)They are giving $36 million. Certainly Trump can match their contribution since he is very, very rich. Each of his children needs to give from their personal funds also.

(111,141 posts)He really thinks when the water goes away, everything will magically be OK. He only knows about puddles on the way out the door from one of his pleasure palaces that he might have stepped in on his way into the limo. He doesn't know about soaked carpets, sodden furniture, ruined drywall, soggy insulation, and the mold that will grow on everything that isn't pulled out quickly.
Nobody can tell him about it, either.
Don't hold your breath waiting for him to donate a dime. He'll fail to write the check. He won't fail to take it off his taxes.
