Former Brazilian President Luiz Inacio "Lula" da Silva continues his bus tour across the country.
Former Brazilian President Luiz Inacio "Lula" de Silva has criticized recent actions taken by the government of President Michel Temer that affect companies and workers in the country.
Lula spoke at a rally in Ipojuca, in the state of Pernambuco, as part of his “Caravan of Hope” tour, which takes him across nine states and 25 cities in northern Brazil.
"They are destroying everything we did in investment, from transforming Ipojuca into a regional development center and in the city with the second-highest GDP of the state of Pernambuco. This government is selling the country as if it were a real estate representative," Lula said to his supporters.
According to the Economic Planning Consultancy, Ceplan, Pernambuco lost 90,000 jobs since new measures were implemented by Temer. ...................
