Lashed out at Kelly amid rising tension in White House

Greg Wilford

... The .. president gave the retired Marine Corps general a dressing down in an incident seen by .. administration staff ...

... Trump's temper .. flared after advisers suggested he .. stop politicising normal issues of government following another .. attack on .. media .. in Phoenix ...

... Kelly, 67, reacted .. calmly, but .. later told colleagues he had never been spoken to in such a way during 35 years of military service and would not put up with similar treatment again ...

They have the power to take him down, I just don't understand why they won't do it. His base is a very small percentage of the voting public. How they allow such a minority to hold this country hostage to an insane, incompetent windbag is obviously a testament to their weakness.

This was something I never knew until recently. It was, apparently, just Trump running things with no checks and balances, leading to his bankruptcies and failures---but, yet, his ability to self-promote and spread his "brand" with pure hucksterism. He IS amazing in this respect. No shock that truly successful businessman and military leaders that he's recruited have a different perspective on successfully managing things. They may, personally, have little regard for the "peons," but they know that management requires serious handling of the welfare of many levels down the line. My background is in academics, which does lead to interest in studying many other areas, even if distained by business. BUT, I was also a "corporate wife" for many years. Trump's claim of business success is not that of the usual "bigwig" executive. He apparently has never operated in business having to answer to others. Even the most high-powered executives he's put in place have experiences Trump completely lacks.

to keep t-rump off limits to weapons knowing fully well how dangerous he is. I guess Gen. Kelly's task is to tone down t-rump's assault on the USA and it ain't working.

Trump family and total Trump following whackadoos.

No one with half a brain will take a job unless they view the offer as a grab at a brass ring that otherwise never exist.

Incremental steps toward an Amendment 25 solution to Trump.

I suppose each person thinks he/she is so special that he will escape Trump's wrath, Trump's disrespect, Trump's treating him like a child. I saw a similar thing at work for years, too, as person after person agreed to work for the biggest SOB supervisor in the office, thinking "I'm so great at my job...she won't be that way with ME." They found out quickly that the supervisor is that way, period. It has nothing to do with the employee. That's how they interact with people.

These jerks are anti-social narcissistic crybabies who lash out when things don't go their way. They are experts at blaming others for their own mistakes. And they treat others horribly.

So, Gen. Kelly...."WE TOLD YOU SO." Don't act so surprised. You KNEW he was this way.

....the flight of the generals as a sign of the end. Not of the world, but this administration. We've got reams of protocols for dealing with the use of nuclear weapons in the event some madman takes office, so I'm not terribly afraid of that...concerned, granted, but not afraid. Their departure would simply signal the end of this admin and the beginning of the Pence admin. No one talks to 4 stars like that and they have connections out the wazoo. When they resign, Congress will act and it will all be over for twittler, since there are enough people of good faith on both sides of the aisle. Then Mueller can have at him without the complication of presidential pardons and whether or not a president can be criminally charged while in office.
