There are some issues I don't think we should compromise on and that's one of them.

Dems are pretty much shutout across the entire south. If we can get more people like Edwards in office, then I'm all for it.

and by far better than Vitter (his opponent) or Jindal. That said, I wonder how he will do when he's not up against such a flawed candidate.

That clearly never happened. I could never tell if he was truly incompetent or if the GOP's racism did him in.
