A temporary gas hike might be some good news to seniors

When Katrina hit gas prices went up 17.8 percent and the cost of living index came in at 5.8 percent a large part of that was gas prices

So the impact on me would be positive except that any "windfall" would be immediately absorbed by Medicare payments and supplemental insurance.

The devil is always in the details.

and now I don't, my direct usage; shopping, visiting, leisure, which used to be limited by available time and now is limited by available health and available surviving friends, is about the same.
