Wow! I know the woman excoriating 45 on Lawrence!

Prudence Gourguechon is past president of the American Psychoanalytic Association, and is as steady a woman as I've ever known. She very intelligently used the Army Manual's criteria for fitness in a leader rather than a psychiatric diagnosis (which I've seen before). I'm just posting this because I'm so pleased to see colleagues finding ways to comment on his incompetence while staying clear of the Goldwater Rule controversy.

Prudy is smart, doesn't have a horse in the race and is as alarmed as we all are. It's heartening to feel represented.

What I like about the way she presents the 5 criteria is that she doesn't judge, but as you read each one you're saying: yes-yes-yes.
Thanks for this.

It's not fuzzy speculation. It's actual criteria. The fact that I like and trust her is just lagniappe. It's good to be able to present simple evidence.

My husband is a psychiatrist/psychoanalyst so we have ongoing discussions about the state of Trump's mental health vs character disorder vs leadership skills.

Blew me away they put up one tweet--ONE--in which Trump failed on ALL the criteria important for Army fitness for leadership.

The guy is a total disaster. It is mind boggling that we have no easy mechanism for removing him from an office for which he is totally unfit.
