Do we retake the house in 2018?

I was wondering since generic polls have Democrats up. I ask this because I am truly scared this time around because the 2016 made the Democrats seems like we were going to win. So is anybody cautious this time around or just don't believe the polls.

1. I hope we will, however I am worried too because we democrats always manage to snatch defeat from

the jaws of victory every single time. If its going well for us, we probably will start bickering with each other instead of staying focussed at beating the GOP candidates. Not to mention, we also have to contend with gerrymandering and possible election shennenigans.

That's a LOT of seats to turn. I think they take a big chunk, but ends up 4-5 short of the majority.

3. Not as long as influential people take the attitude Trump is not a monster.

He will not improve change, he has committed crimes until Democrats face that we will not claw our way back.
